Location: Morristown, TN
Pay: $16.00/hour
Job Type: Temp-to-Hire
Shift: Monday–Thursday | 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM

Punch Press Operator Education Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required.

Punch Press Operator Experience Requirements
  • Previous experience operating punch presses, stamping presses, or similar manufacturing equipment is preferred.
  • Manufacturing or machine shop experience preferred.
  • Basic computer and data entry skills.
  • Experience using production tracking or ERP systems is a plus.
  • Ability to perform quality inspections and accurately document production information.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Punch Press Operator Job Duties
  • Operate automatic, transfer, and robotic stamping press equipment.
  • Set up production jobs using production schedules and setup instructions.
  • Follow packaging and production specifications.
  • Perform quality inspections to ensure products meet manufacturing standards.
  • Enter production, downtime, scrap, and inventory information into the production system.
  • Monitor equipment performance and report mechanical or tooling concerns.
  • Communicate production issues with supervisors and the quality team.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment.
  • Perform additional production duties as assigned.

Punch Press Operator Physical Capabilities
  • Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift.
  • Frequent bending, stooping, stretching, reaching, and repetitive hand movements.
  • Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
  • Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment, including steel-toe boots and safety glasses.
