Pay Rate: $27.00 per hour + OT after 40
Schedule:

  • Monday – Friday (Shifts will vary)
  • 6 AM – 2 PM
  • 2 PM – 11 PM
  • 11 PM – 6 AM

Requirements:

  • Valid CDL-A license
  • DOT Medical Card
  • FMCSA Clearinghouse registered and clear MVR
  • 1-year CDL experience (within the past 3 years)
  • No more than 3 moving violations/at-fault accidents (within the past 3 years)
  • No DUI, reckless driving, or serious violations (within the past 5 years)

What You’ll Do:

  • Operate CDL-A tractor-trailers to complete pickups and deliveries in Lansing and surrounding areas within a 200-mile radius.
  • Transport automotive freight using 53’ dry van trailers.
  • Perform dock-to-dock deliveries with mostly no-touch freight.
  • Safely operate equipment while following all DOT regulations and company safety standards.
  • Complete required pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding schedules, pickups, and delivery updates.
  • Maintain punctuality, reliability, and strong time management in a fast-paced transportation environment.

What You Will Do

As a Class A CDL Driver you will safely operate vehicles to transport goods, materials, or equipment while following established routes, schedules, and safety regulations. You will perform vehicle inspections, maintain required documentation, communicate with dispatch or customers as needed, and help ensure deliveries are completed safely, accurately, and on time while maintaining a professional appearance and commitment to customer service.

The Class A CDL Driver is responsible for operating vehicles safely while transporting products and materials according to established schedules and delivery requirements. This position requires sound judgment, strong driving skills, and a commitment to protecting people, cargo, and equipment.

Successful Class A CDL Driver candidates understand the importance of vehicle inspections, transportation safety, and maintaining accurate records throughout the delivery process. Adaptability and professionalism help drivers respond effectively to changing road conditions and customer needs.
