Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to pass pre-employment reading and ruler tests
- Minimum of 2 years of complex automotive mechanical experience (engine or transmission work) or previous coating, lamination, or extrusion machine experience
- Ability to accurately read a ruler or tape measure to 1/16″
- Ability to lift up to 65 lbs.
- Ability to push, pull, and maneuver large material rolls using equipment
- Ability to stand, bend, squat, kneel, crouch, and perform physical work throughout the shift
- Comfortable working around chemicals and occasional strong odors
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Job Duties
- Assist the Lamination Machine Operator with daily production activities
- Install and align roll stock to ensure proper adhesive application
- Mix adhesives according to production specifications
- Perform viscosity checks every 30 minutes and accurately record results
- Remove completed rolls as directed by the operator
- Monitor machine startups to ensure proper operation
- Immediately notify the operator of equipment or production issues
- Maintain a clean and organized work area through routine housekeeping
- Follow all safety procedures, quality standards, and production requirements
- Perform additional duties as assigned

What You Will DoAs a Machine Helper you will operate, monitor, adjust, and maintain manufacturing equipment to produce quality products according to production schedules and established procedures. You will inspect finished products, replenish materials, identify equipment issues, perform routine machine checks, maintain production records, and support safe, efficient manufacturing operations.
The Machine Helper supports manufacturing by operating production equipment according to established procedures and quality standards. This role requires mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in fast-paced production environments.
A successful Machine Helper understands machine operation, product inspection, material handling, and equipment monitoring while maintaining productivity and workplace safety. Reliable performance contributes directly to manufacturing success.
