Now Hiring: Facility Technician
Location: Austin, TX
Pay Rate: $22.00 per hour | Shift: 7 AM-3:30 PM | Monday-Friday
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Relevant maintenance, skilled trades, or technical training is a plus.
Facility Technician Experience Requirements
- Previous painting, facilities maintenance, or general maintenance experience preferred.
- Experience with surface preparation and painting techniques preferred.
- Comfortable using hand and power tools.
- Industrial, manufacturing, or facilities experience is a plus.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new maintenance skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
Facility Technician Physical Capabilities
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Ability to bend, kneel, reach, and climb as required.
- Ability to frequently lift, carry, and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
- Ability to work in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Perform interior and exterior painting projects, including preparing walls and surfaces.
- Complete basic facility repairs and preventive maintenance tasks.
- Respond to maintenance requests and assist with building upkeep.
- Support basic plumbing, electrical, and mechanical maintenance as needed.
- Move materials, furniture, equipment, and supplies throughout the facility.
- Safely operate hand and power tools to complete assigned maintenance tasks.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
- Perform additional facility maintenance duties as assigned.
