Shift Options: 1st Shift, 6:45 AM-3 PM, Mon-Fri | 2nd Shift, 2:45 PM-11 PM, Mon-Fri | 3rd Shift, 10:45 PM-7 AM, Sun-Thursday

Equipment Operator Education Requirements
  • Forklift certification is required upon hiring.
  • Prior experience operating stand-up forklifts and reach trucks is preferred.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is a plus.

Equipment Operator Skills + Experience Requirements
  • Understands and adheres to the company’s Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and safety policies.
  • Ensures accurate and efficient movement of materials to support production needs.
  • Demonstrates attention to detail to prevent errors in inventory handling or material movement.
  • Displays teamwork and effective communication with production, warehouse, and leadership teams.
  • Operates equipment responsibly and reports any mechanical issues immediately.
  • Steel-toe shoes required.
Equipment Operator Job Duties
  • Operate stand-up forklifts and reach trucks to move materials to and from production areas.
  • Retrieve and place materials on racks as needed for production or inventory purposes.
  • Transport raw materials, finished goods, and packaging supplies safely and efficiently.
  • Assist in loading and unloading trucks or pallets when required.
  • Conduct regular equipment inspections to ensure forklifts are in safe working condition.
  • Perform inventory management tasks, including scanning and tracking material movement.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the staging and storage zones.
  • Follow all safety protocols and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
  • Assist with other duties as assigned by the Warehouse or Production Supervisor.

Equipment Operator Physical Capabilities
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to operate forklifts for extended periods.
  • Must be comfortable working in environments with varying temperatures and noise levels.
  • Must be able to handle repetitive tasks while maintaining focus and accuracy.

What You Will Do

As an Equipment Operator you will safely operate forklifts to load, unload, transport, stack, and organize materials throughout warehouse and manufacturing operations. You will inspect equipment before use, replenish inventory locations, support shipping and receiving activities, verify product movement, maintain inventory accuracy, and help ensure safe, efficient material handling throughout the facility.

The Equipment Operator plays an important role in warehouse and manufacturing operations by operating forklifts to support inventory movement and material handling. This position requires strong spatial awareness, attention to detail, and safe operating practices.

Successful Equipment Operator candidates understand warehouse workflows, equipment inspections, inventory procedures, and safe material handling while supporting productive daily operations. Consistent performance contributes directly to warehouse efficiency.
