Requirements
- Experience in manufacturing, production coordination, or project management
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong measurement and inspection skills using tools such as tape measures and calipers
- Understanding of shipping, packaging, and logistics processes
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work across multiple facilities and departments
- Valid driver’s license required
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in metal fabrication, machining, or a similar manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with ERP systems
- Previous Sales or Customer Service support experience
Job Duties
- Manage customer projects from order release through shipment
- Develop and maintain project timelines while identifying risks and implementing solutions
- Review blueprints, drawings, and specifications prior to production
- Verify part details, materials, tolerances, and special customer requirements
- Inspect and measure parts to ensure quality and accuracy
- Ensure packaging, labeling, and shipping meet customer expectations
- Coordinate production capacity across multiple facilities
- Communicate project updates with Sales, Operations, and customers
- Maintain project documentation, approvals, and engineering changes
- Identify process improvements and recommend solutions to increase efficiency
