Machinist Details:

Pay Range: $22 – $26 per hour
Shift Options:

• 1st Shift | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• 2nd Shift | 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM

Requirements:

• Experience operating CNC or manual machines
• Able to read blueprints
• Knowledge in the use of precision measuring tools

CNC Machinist

• Will operate 2, 3, 4, and/or 5-axis CNC machines and conventional machines to produce complex aerospace parts, demonstrating advanced cross-training flexibility.
• Review production schedules and work orders to determine processing sequences, furnace temperatures, shaping specifications, and heat cycle requirements for parts to be heat-treated.

Machine Operator

• Operate manual surface grinders, Blanchard, and/or milling machines to grind and finish metal parts to specified dimensions and surface finishes. Operate CNC lathe and mill machines.
• Set up machine operations, including selecting appropriate wheels, cutters, speeds, and feeds.

Saw Operator

• Set up and operate band saws to cut metal materials, including steel, aluminum, and other alloys.
• Read and interpret job travelers, blueprints, cut lists, and mechanical drawings to determine cutting requirements.
• Measure and mark materials using calipers, micrometers, tape measures, or other precision tools.
