Location: Dallas, TX
Pay Rate: $23.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday | Day Shift: 7 AM-4:30 PM

If you have experience with perishable products, enjoy working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, and take pride in quality and inventory accuracy, this is your opportunity to play a key role in delivering perfectly ripened produce to customers.

Produce Ripening Specialist Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of produce ripening or perishable goods experience
  • Forklift experience and safe equipment operation skills
  • Strong attention to detail and quality standards
  • Inventory management and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize changing workloads
  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and rotating shifts

Produce Ripening Specialist Job Duties:

  • Manage the avocado ripening process and maintain proper color stages.
  • Monitor ripening rooms and adjust schedules based on demand forecasts.
  • Perform quality inspections, grading, and product evaluations.
  • Track daily inventory and document inbound and outbound quality reports.
  • Coordinate with buying and sales teams to ensure product availability.
  • Supervise product loading, unloading, and receiving inspections.
  • Report quality concerns and maintain compliance with SOPs.
  • Help ensure customers receive fresh, high-quality produce every day.
