Education Requirements- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Post-secondary vocational training or education in industrial trades is a plus
- 1-3 years of machine operator experience in a machining or high-tech manufacturing environment preferred
- Experience reading blueprints and following manufacturing specifications
- Basic computer skills in a Windows-based environment
- Experience with process improvement and safety practices preferred
- Follow documented production procedures to complete daily work assignments
- Work closely with the engineering team on new manufacturing processes
- Load fixtures and make machine or process adjustments as needed
- Inspect parts using microscopes to identify quality issues
- Read and interpret blueprints to ensure products meet specifications
- Monitor equipment performance and report maintenance needs
- Set up jobs and production runs as assigned
- Maintain a safe work environment by following company procedures and regulations
- Participate in training and continuous learning opportunities
- Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to use microscopes and inspect small components with attention to detail
- Ability to safely handle materials and equipment as required
