Job Title: Japanese Bilingual Customer Service Representative
Location: Greater Chicago Area, near O’Hare International Airport (Hybrid, once a week onsite)
Hours: 9:00am – 5:30pm
Classification: Non-Exempt, Full-Time, Direct-Hire
Position Summary:
We are seeking a Japanese Bilingual Customer Service Representative to join a well-established professional services company in Schaumburg, IL. This hybrid position (with one day per week in the office) is ideal for individuals with strong administrative or clerical experience who enjoy providing excellent support to clients and internal teams. The role involves managing client communications, coordinating documentation, and supporting account activities. Comprehensive training will be provided, and the company supports employees in obtaining industry-related certifications for career growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Process service requests and updates from business clients in a timely manner through digital systems
Review client-submitted information and documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness for processing
Maintain organized electronic client records and files within internal systems
Coordinate with internal teams and external service providers to collect and confirm required information
Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, primarily via email and other digital communication tools
Enter and maintain accurate data related to client transactions and billing activities in online systems
Communicate with clients and external partners to support issue resolution and ensure smooth processing workflows
Escalate complex or unique issues to senior team members or supervisors as needed
Qualifications:
Japanese bilingual skills required (business-level fluency in reading, writing, and speaking)
Prior clerical or administrative experience required
Customer service experience in a business setting is a plus.
Interest in developing professional skills, including a certification in business-related services (training provided)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Basic Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
