Pay Rate: $22.00 – $28.00 per hour ($1 2nd shift differential | $1.25 3rd shift differential)
Shifts:
2nd Shift | 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
3rd Shift | 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Weekends | 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Friday – Sunday (Paid for 40 hours)

CNC Machinist Skills & Requirements

• Associate degree in Machine Tool Technology preferred, or equivalent experience.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 5 years of CNC machining experience.
• Strong knowledge of shop math, including trigonometry and the Pythagorean Theorem.
• Ability to read complex blueprints, tool prints, and sketches.
• Experience with GD&T, inspection methods, and precision tolerances.
• Knowledge of rigging, crane/hoist safety, and safe material handling practices.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

How You’ll Spend Your Day

• Perform complete machine setup within standard production times.
• Operate multiple CNC machine tools simultaneously.
• Navigate FANUC controls, including wear and geometry offsets.
• Edit CNC programs and troubleshoot machining issues quickly.
• Use Renishaw probing systems for setup and measurement functions.
• Set up and operate CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) equipment.
• Inspect finished parts using gauges and blueprints to ensure quality standards.
• Complete First Article Inspections (FAI) and record SPC data.
• Perform TPM equipment checks and maintain daily 5S standards.
• Support continuous improvement projects such as Kaizen, SMED, and fixture design.
