Now Hiring Tool Maker
York, PA
Pay Rate: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour + $1,000 stay bonus (6 months) and 100% covered benefits (valued at $5-$6/hr)
Shift: 1st

Responsibilities:

  • Build, repair, and maintain progressive and compound dies
  • Play a critical role in the manufacturing process of high-precision metal stamping
  • Work closely with engineers, operators, and other toolmakers to maintain and improve production tooling
  • Grind, fit, assemble, and repair dies with a high level of precision
  • Troubleshoot tooling issues and make adjustments to restore optimal performance
  • Read and interpret blueprints, tooling layouts, and specifications
  • Improve existing dies to increase uptime and efficiency
  • Support the build and development of new tooling

Requirements:

  • Proven experience with high‑speed progressive dies in a manufacturing environment
  • Manual machining expertise
  • Able to troubleshoot complex tooling issues on the production floor
  • Strong surface grinding, tool fitting, and precision measurement skills
  • Ability to read and understand complex blueprints
  • Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to work independently
  • Dependable, punctual, and committed to quality work on the first shift
  • High School Diploma or GED. Technical degree a plus.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
