Pay Rate: $27.00 – $27.61 per hour
Shift: Monday – Thursday, 3:15 PM-1:45 AM

Total Talent Solutions and our client, Wabtec, are seeking dependable Assemblers who know how to hustle. As an Assembler, you’ll assemble products, work with tools, and keep the crew on pace.

Skills That Make You Stand Out

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1+ years of experience using electrical and/or pneumatic hand tools.
• Able to read blueprints, schematics, and manufacturing instructions sufficiently to complete the assigned assembly tasks.
• Willingness to work overtime (including weekends).
• Comfortable climbing ladders and working from heights of 20 feet.
• Ability to remain active throughout each shift and lift 40 pounds.

Work That Matters

• The sub-assembly of components and the full assembly of the finished product.
• The installation and/or connection of wiring harnesses and associated Electronic components, and of piping and associated plumbing components.
• The setup and completion of various simple welding operations.
• Testing of assembly components for oil and/or air leaks, simple electrical malfunctions, and various other simple tests. Repairs are to be made when failures are detected.
• The use of standard machine tools, including but not limited to drill press, band saw, lathe, press brakes, laser, pipe bender, spot welder, etc., and a variety of hand, electric, and pneumatic tools.
• Paint applications will include, but are not limited to, dry sanding, masking, unmasking, finish paint, stenciling, sealing, and touch-up.
• Transporting materials utilizing radio-controlled cranes, forklifts, and tuggers.
