Geneseo, NY Please note, this is an in-office position. Candidates MUST be within commuting distance of Geneseo, NY.
Pay Rate: $17.20 – $17.75 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | Daytime Hours
*Flexible scheduling within business hours.
*One weekday per week extends until 9:00 PM.
*Training schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

You’re a Fit If You :

• Have a high school diploma or GED
• Hold 1 year of collections experience
• Possess strong communication, reading, and typing skills
• Are comfortable using modern office systems and software
• Have excellent attention to detail and organizational habits
• Are able to follow structured procedures independently
• Must be within commuting distance of Geneseo, NY (on-site requirement)

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Contact individuals with overdue accounts to review repayment options
• Conduct both outbound and inbound calls with professionalism and clarity
• Perform skip-tracing to locate updated contact or employment details
• Negotiate payment plans or escalate complex issues as appropriate
• Record all interactions in the system, following scripts and compliance standards
• Verify information for special cases such as disability, bankruptcy, or legal resolutions
• Adhere to federal/state regulations and internal guidelines
• Complete additional tasks as needed to support the business
