Looking for Non CDL Yard Driver jobs in Garden City where every mile matters? This opportunity puts your driving skills to work transporting goods safely, efficiently, and on schedule while supporting the businesses and customers that keep the economy moving.

This position is responsible for assuring safe and efficient traffic flow within the yard. The Yard Goat Operator will also provide proper dock set up by maintaining the transporting containers and trailers, as instructed by the Operations team, in a professional manner. Key Responsibilities: Maintains a daily movement log and PM inspections.

Job Duties

• Safely operate a yard trailer

• No touch | Local

Driving Requirements

• 22+ years of age
• Valid CDL-C license
• Clear MVR
• 6 months of jockey or shuttle driving experience
• No more than 3 moving violations/at-fault accidents (within the past 3 years)
• No DUI, reckless driving, or serious violations (within the past 5 years)

What You Will Do

As a Non CDL Yard Driver you will safely operate vehicles to transport goods, materials, or equipment while following established routes, schedules, and safety regulations. You will perform vehicle inspections, maintain required documentation, communicate with dispatch or customers as needed, and help ensure deliveries are completed safely, accurately, and on time while maintaining a professional appearance and commitment to customer service.

The Non CDL Yard Driver is responsible for operating vehicles safely while transporting products and materials according to established schedules and delivery requirements. This position requires sound judgment, strong driving skills, and a commitment to protecting people, cargo, and equipment.

Successful Non CDL Yard Driver candidates understand the importance of vehicle inspections, transportation safety, and maintaining accurate records throughout the delivery process. Adaptability and professionalism help drivers respond effectively to changing road conditions and customer needs.
