Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6 am-230 pm

Operate a yard goat to move and switch trailers between docks, completing approximately 80+ moves per shift. Must be comfortable with tight maneuvering, blindside backing, and working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a strong focus on safety.

Job Duties

• Yard hostlers will drive and maneuver yard goat & trailers from dock to dock, switching out trailers
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, moving approximately 80+ moves per shift, and be able to blindside back
• Safety is always the key, so the driver must be safety-minded

Experience Requirements

• Safe driving history with a strong commitment to defensive driving practices.
• Ability to inspect vehicles, identify safety concerns, and complete required documentation.
• Knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and proper cargo securement when applicable.
• Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to meet delivery schedules.
• Professional communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
• 21 years of age or older.
• Valid Class C License
• 1 year or more of yard goat experience within the past 3 years.
• No more than 3 moving violations or preventable accidents on driving record for the past 3 years
• No DUI’S / Reckless Driving in the last 5 years.

What You Will Do

As a NON CDL Yard Driver you will safely operate vehicles to transport goods, materials, or equipment while following established routes, schedules, and safety regulations. You will perform vehicle inspections, maintain required documentation, communicate with dispatch or customers as needed, and help ensure deliveries are completed safely, accurately, and on time while maintaining a professional appearance and commitment to customer service.

The NON CDL Yard Driver supports supply chain operations by transporting freight, materials, and equipment safely and efficiently. This role requires professional driving ability, strong situational awareness, and a commitment to maintaining high safety standards.
