• High school diploma or GED required; technical training or an associate degree in Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) required.
• Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems is a plus.
• IPC/WHMA-A-620 and J-STD-001 certifications preferred or willingness to obtain certification.
• Understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and AS9100 quality standards preferred.

• 3-5 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in electronics, cable assembly, or wire harness manufacturing.
• 1-3 years of quality inspection or quality assurance experience required.
• Experience conducting in-process inspections, final inspections, audits, and receiving inspections.
• Knowledge of root cause analysis tools such as 8D, Fishbone, and 5 Why methodologies.
• Experience with corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), process improvement, and quality reporting.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to stand, sit, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and use hands throughout the workday.
• Frequent use of computers, keyboards, measuring devices, and inspection tools.
• Ability to lift up to 25-50 lbs. with or without assistance.
• Strong visual acuity, including the ability to distinguish colors and perform microscope-assisted inspections.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment while maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Perform in-process and final inspections to ensure products meet customer, regulatory, and quality standards.
• Support receiving inspections, PPAPs, First Article Inspections (FAI), and process audits.
• Track, analyze, and report quality metrics, inspection data, trends, and non-conformances.
• Calibrate and maintain measurement and testing equipment.
• Investigate quality issues using root cause analysis tools, including 8D, Fishbone, and 5 Why methodologies.
• Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality concerns and implement corrective actions.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor key process characteristics and assist in developing process control plans.
• Maintain compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, AS9100, customer requirements, and internal quality procedures.
• Support audits, customer inquiries, and quality-related projects as assigned.

What You Will Do

Job Duties

• In-process inspection and final inspection of finished products.
• Track and report on quality performance at pre-established intervals and report results, calibration of measurement, and testing tools.
• Support receiving inspection, PPAP, and FAI activities as required.
• Support and/or perform process audits in support of organizational objectives.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years in electronics/wire harness/manufacturing environment
• 1+ years of quality inspection experience
• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy and intermediate-level PC-based skills – MS Office required
• Ability to read, write, listen, and otherwise communicate and understand effectively in English is required
