Requirements- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 5 years of injection molding experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience operating injection molding presses and auxiliary equipment
- Experience with machine setups, mold changes, and process adjustments
- Strong understanding of molding processes, materials, equipment, and quality standards
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read work orders, process sheets, and production documentation
- Set up, operate, monitor, and adjust injection molding presses
- Perform mold changes, machine setups, start-ups, and process adjustments
- Establish and maintain molding parameters for quality production
- Troubleshoot process issues, equipment concerns, and product defects
- Monitor production to ensure quality and efficiency standards are met
- Complete production, process, and quality documentation
- Communicate equipment, process, and quality concerns with team members
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
- Obtain and maintain forklift certification as required
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous machine operation, manufacturing, production, or industrial experience is preferred.
- Experience performing machine setup, tooling changes, troubleshooting, or preventative maintenance is beneficial.
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, quality systems, or continuous improvement practices is considered an asset.
- Individuals who demonstrate mechanical ability, reliability, teamwork, and a commitment to quality are well positioned for success as a Process Molding Technician.
Physical Capabilities
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to safely operate manufacturing equipment while maintaining awareness of moving machinery.
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment and work safely in a manufacturing environment.
