The Escrow Officer acts as a neutral liaison responsible for managing real estate escrow transactions from inception to closing. This role oversees closing workflows, ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, and delivers exceptional service to real estate professionals, lenders, buyers, and sellers throughout the transaction process. Experience Requirements- 3+ years of direct Escrow Officer experience handling residential and/or commercial transactions
- Demonstrated book of business or strong local client relationships preferred
- Experience managing escrow transactions from opening through closing
- Manage the full lifecycle of residential and commercial escrow files
- Review title commitments, purchase agreements, and loan documents
- Prepare closing statements, deeds, and escrow instructions
- Serve as the primary point of contact for buyers, sellers, agents, lenders, attorneys, and other stakeholders
- Coordinate escrow funds, earnest money deposits, loan proceeds, and disbursements
- Resolve title defects, boundary issues, and closing discrepancies
- Ensure compliance with state and federal escrow regulations and company policies
- Maintain accurate records while meeting critical closing deadlines
- Proficiency with escrow processing software such as FAST, Streamline, or similar platforms
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- High attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong problem-solving, conflict resolution, and time management skills
