Location: Coppell, TX
Pay Rate: $18.00 – $19.00 per hour
Schedule:

1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM

2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM–10:30 PM

Join us as a Wood Crater in Coppell and be the start of something real. You’ll run machines, assemble parts, or pack goods that ship around the world. It’s hands-on work with fair pay and room to grow. We are seeking a detail-oriented Wood Crater to construct and assemble wooden crates used to protect and transport bumpers. This position requires precision, strong attention to detail, and strict adherence to safety standards.

Job Duties

  • Build wooden crates and containers to specified dimensions using hand and power tools.
  • Select appropriate wood and materials for crate construction.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, or verbal instructions.
  • Measure and cut wood to size and assemble pieces using nails, screws, and glue.
  • Inspect completed crates to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
  • Follow all workplace safety procedures and guidelines.

Education Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous manufacturing or production training is beneficial.

Experience Requirements

  • Ability to work safely in manufacturing and production environments.
  • Ability to follow written work instructions, production procedures, and quality standards.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain productivity and consistent quality.
  • Mechanical aptitude and the ability to safely operate basic production equipment when required.
  • Dependable attendance, teamwork, and a commitment to workplace safety.
  • Previous woodworking, crate-building, carpentry, or similar experience preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints or technical instructions.
  • Experience safely using hand and power tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • Must be available for 40+ hours per week and overtime as needed, including occasional Saturdays.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous manufacturing, assembly, production, warehouse, or industrial experience is preferred.
  • Experience operating production equipment, performing quality inspections, or meeting production goals is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement practices, or workplace safety procedures is considered an asset.
  • Individuals who demonstrate reliability, adaptability, teamwork, and a strong work ethic are well positioned for success as a Wood Crater.

Physical Capabilities

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to safely operate around production equipment and moving machinery.
  • Ability to maintain productivity while working in fast-paced manufacturing environments.

What You Will Do
