Job Duties

  • Efficiently operating an electric pallet jack to move products within the warehouse.
  • Case-order pick and palletize product by weight.
  • Maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all shipped orders.
  • Contribute to a safe and organized warehouse environment

Education Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous warehouse or powered industrial equipment training is beneficial.

Experience Requirements

  • Experience operating electric pallet jacks or similar powered material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Ability to transport, stage, load, and unload materials throughout warehouse operations.
  • Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and equipment inspections.
  • Ability to accurately identify inventory, shipping labels, and warehouse locations.
  • Strong attention to detail, dependable attendance, and commitment to workplace safety.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous warehouse, distribution, fulfillment, logistics, or manufacturing experience is preferred.
  • Experience using electric pallet jacks, forklifts, RF scanners, warehouse management systems (WMS), or inventory software is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of inventory control, shipping, receiving, order picking, or Lean warehouse practices is considered an asset.
  • Individuals who demonstrate safe operating practices, productivity, teamwork, and inventory accuracy are well positioned for success as a Electric Pallet Jack Operator.

Physical Capabilities

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physically active warehouse work throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to safely operate powered material handling equipment while maintaining awareness of surrounding warehouse traffic.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced warehouse environments while following established safety procedures.

What You Will Do

As a Electric Pallet Jack Operator you will safely operate electric pallet jack equipment to move inventory throughout warehouse operations. You will load and unload materials, stage products, replenish inventory, support shipping and receiving activities, use RF scanners to verify inventory, inspect equipment before use, and maintain safe, organized work areas while meeting daily productivity goals.

Efficiently operating an electric pallet jack to move products within the warehouse CASE order pick (not opening the box but will be lifting the entire box that was ordered) and palletize product by weight. Handle products weighing between 20-50lbs consistently throughout shift Maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all orders being shipped. Contribute to a safe and organized warehouse environment
