Job Duties
- Manually unload trailers and cargo.
- Repackage and relabel products as needed.
- Accurately stage and sort products for loading.
- Load and unload trailers safely and efficiently.
- Sort and place parts or products in racks and other designated storage areas.
- Electronically scan products using a warehouse management system (WMS).
- Perform quality control inspections.
- Identify and remove damaged products when received.
- Read production schedules, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items that need to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
- Maintain accurate inventory records.
- Follow all company safety requirements and procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Education Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous warehouse, logistics, or distribution training is beneficial.
Experience Requirements
- Ability to safely perform warehouse duties including picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and inventory handling.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately identify products, labels, and shipping documentation.
- Ability to use pallet jacks, hand trucks, RF scanners, or other warehouse equipment as required.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to work efficiently in fast-paced warehouse environments.
- Commitment to workplace safety, teamwork, and dependable attendance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous warehouse, distribution center, fulfillment, manufacturing, or logistics experience is preferred.
- Experience operating forklifts or other powered industrial equipment is beneficial.
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory procedures, shipping software, or RF scanning equipment is considered an asset.
- Individuals who demonstrate reliability, adaptability, teamwork, and attention to detail are well positioned for success as a Warehouse Associate.
Physical Capabilities
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive warehouse tasks throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull materials and packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to safely work around warehouse equipment, conveyors, and moving inventory.
- Ability to maintain productivity while working in warehouse and distribution environments.
- Must be willing to work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment.
- This position involves continuous manual unloading of cargo.
