Pay Rate: $20.00 – $24.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

We are seeking a skilled Waterjet Operator/Programmer to join our aerospace manufacturing team in Corona, CA. The ideal candidate will program and operate Flow or Omax Waterjet systems using customer blueprints and technical specifications. This is a hands-on role requiring experience in metal fabrication, blueprint reading, and a high attention to detail.

Education Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • CAD training, coursework, or technical education preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and manufacturing specifications.

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience programming and/or operating Waterjet equipment.
  • Experience with Flow, Omax, or similar CNC Waterjet machines preferred.
  • Background in manufacturing, metal fabrication, machining, or industrial production environments.
  • Experience working with a variety of metals, alloys, and material grades.
  • Proficiency using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong blueprint reading and interpretation skills.
  • CAD knowledge or training preferred.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities with minimal supervision.
  • Stable work history demonstrating reliability and longevity.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn new technologies and processes.

Physical Capabilities

  • Ability to lift, carry, and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
  • Manual dexterity required to operate machinery, measuring equipment, and material-handling devices.
  • Ability to work safely in a manufacturing and fabrication environment.

Job Duties

  • Program and operate Flow, Omax, or similar Waterjet cutting equipment according to engineering specifications and customer requirements.
  • Review blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to ensure accurate setup and production.
  • Select, position, and move materials to and from machinery as needed.
  • Verify dimensions and product quality using precision measuring instruments.
  • Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to maintain quality and production efficiency.
  • Inspect finished parts to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate production records and follow established manufacturing procedures.
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, engineers, and team members to support production goals.
  • Follow all company safety policies, quality procedures, and regulatory requirements.

  • Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Must qualify as a U.S. Person in accordance with applicable export control regulations.
