Now hiring for a Mail Sorter
Location: Grand Prairie, TX (Not on the bus line)
$16.50 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-4:30 PM
Must be available to work overtime every other Saturday

You’ll help ensure accuracy, meet production deadlines, and support efficient mail operations in a clean, climate-controlled environment.

Education Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred unless otherwise specified.
  • Additional education, certifications, or vocational training may be beneficial depending on the position.

Experience Requirements
  • Previous warehouse, mail processing, production, or sorting experience is helpful but not required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail
  • Basic understanding of English to follow safety and operational instructions
Job Duties
  • Sort mail pieces and flats using machine-assisted and manual methods
  • Verify postage, dates, barcodes, and mailing information for accuracy
  • Identify and report barcode or mail quality issues
  • Clear minor mail jams and assist with machine operation
  • Match zip code labels, tray numbers, and bin locations
  • Stack, label, and palletize mail according to USPS guidelines
  • Process inbound and outbound mail and packages
  • Monitor production schedules and meet service deadlines
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
Physical Capabilities
  • Lift up to 25 pounds regularly
  • Stand for extended periods on a concrete floor
  • Frequently bend, stoop, twist, and move throughout the work area
  • Perform repetitive sorting and palletizing tasks
  • Work at a fast pace while maintaining accuracy

As a Mail Sorter you will perform responsibilities that support the daily operations of your assigned employer while following established procedures, quality standards, and workplace safety requirements. Duties may include operating equipment, working with customers, handling materials, preparing documentation, supporting administrative activities, using technology, collaborating with team members, or completing other responsibilities appropriate to the position.
