Responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized manufacturing facility. Duties include sweeping, mopping, removing debris and waste, cleaning work areas and equipment, and assisting with general labor tasks as needed. Operates a sit-down forklift to safely move materials, pallets, and supplies throughout the facility. Follows all company safety procedures and maintains a clean and hazard-free work environment.
Education Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous custodial, janitorial, housekeeping, or facilities maintenance experience is beneficial.
Experience Requirements
- Previous janitorial, custodial, warehouse, or manufacturing cleaning experience preferred
- Sit-down forklift experience required
- Knowledge of workplace safety procedures preferred
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized manufacturing facility
- Sweep, mop, and clean production areas, workstations, and equipment
- Remove debris, waste, and recyclable materials throughout the facility
- Operate a sit-down forklift to move materials, pallets, and supplies safely
- Assist with general labor tasks as needed
- Inspect work areas and help maintain a hazard-free environment
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Support overall facility cleanliness and organization
Physical Capabilities
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift cleaning supplies, equipment, and materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to safely push, pull, and maneuver cleaning carts and equipment.
- Ability to work in a variety of indoor environments while following established safety procedures.
