Now hiring for a Welder
Location: Brooklyn Park, MN
Pay Rate: $24.05 – $25.50 per hour
Schedule: 2nd Shift | Monday – Thursday | 2:30 PM – 12:00 AM
Overtime on Fridays as needed (4 – 8 hours)
Training Schedule: 1st shift for 1 – 2 weeks

Welder Education Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
Experience Requirements
- MIG welding experience (TIG welding experience is a plus).
- Candidates with limited experience may be considered if they have a welding certificate.
- Able to read blueprints and work orders.
- Ability to use measuring tools and operate power tools.
- Basic math skills.
Physical Capabilities
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work in welding positions throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift metal components, materials, and equipment weighing up to 75 pounds.
- Ability to safely wear welding helmets, gloves, and required personal protective equipment.
- Ability to safely work around welding equipment, sparks, heat, and fabrication machinery while following established safety procedures.
Job Duties
- Perform primarily MIG welding and occasional TIG welding on stainless steel, aluminum, and steel components.
- Read and interpret blueprints and work orders.
- Use power tools such as drills, grinders, and rivet/rivnut guns.
- Measure materials accurately using a tape measure.
- Assist in other production and shop duties as needed.
- Follow all safety and quality standards.

What You Will DoAs a Welder you will prepare materials, set up welding equipment, perform MIG welding operations, inspect completed welds, read blueprints, verify measurements, and help fabricate metal components according to engineering specifications. You will maintain welding equipment, follow quality standards, and support safe, efficient manufacturing operations while producing consistent, high-quality work.
A Welder joins and fabricates metal components using MIG welding processes to produce strong, accurate, and reliable finished products. This role combines technical welding knowledge, mechanical aptitude, and craftsmanship to support manufacturing and fabrication operations.
Successful Welder professionals understand welding techniques, blueprint interpretation, material preparation, and weld quality while maintaining safe work practices and consistent production standards. Attention to detail is essential for producing durable, high-quality weldments.
