Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Six to twelve months of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination
• Tow-motor operator certification
• Knowledge of electrical circuits
• Basic understanding of electric motors, water pumps, and vacuum pumps
• Ability to plan and fabricate projects
• Ability to read safety rules, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Basic mathematical skills
• Ability to follow written, verbal, and diagram-based instructions
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

Job Duties

• Perform routine lighting and HVAC maintenance
• Complete preventive maintenance on machinery
• Dismantle defective equipment
• Install new or repaired components
• Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other machine parts
• Repair and maintain facility structures
• Operate table saws, drill presses, and band saws
• Fabricate machine parts, jigs, fixtures, and tools
• Build and repair counters, benches, partitions, and wooden structures
• Perform additional maintenance tasks as assigned

As a Maintenanace Technican you will inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment, machinery, and facility systems to support safe and efficient operations. You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnose equipment issues, replace worn components, document completed work, and work closely with production and operations teams to minimize downtime while maintaining quality and safety standards.

The Maintenanace Technican is responsible for supporting the long-term performance of equipment through inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair. This role requires technical knowledge, mechanical skill, and a proactive approach to equipment reliability.

Successful Maintenanace Technican professionals use diagnostic thinking and practical experience to identify maintenance needs, complete repairs, and support continuous improvement efforts throughout the workplace. Strong communication and teamwork help ensure maintenance activities support operational goals.
