These are the qualifications that matter (Requirements & Job Duties):
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years Manufacturing Engineering experience in a production environment preferred
- Hands-on shop floor experience with troubleshooting and process improvement
- Experience with New Product Introduction (NPI) and production launches
- Ability to design tooling, fixtures, jigs, and manufacturing aids
- Develop and improve manufacturing processes, workflows, and production efficiency
- Create and maintain work instructions, routers, setup sheets, and manufacturing documentation
- Experience with Engineering Change Orders (ECO) and change control processes
- ERP experience (ECI Max or similar) including BOMs, routings, and labor standards
- Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement experience focused on cost, scrap, and efficiency
- Knowledge of quality systems (AS9100 preferred) and root cause analysis (CAPA, NCR, PFMEA)
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, and Operations to improve production performance
