Now Hiring: Maintenance Technician | Direct Hire
Location: Alabaster, AL
Pay Rate: $24.00 – $32.00 per hour
Shift: 7 AM-3 PM | Monday-Friday

Requirements: 

  • High School Diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree preferred.
  • 2–5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including motors, wiring, and controls.
  • Experience troubleshooting PLC-controlled equipment (Allen-Bradley and Siemens preferred).
  • Working knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
  • Experience using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Welding and fabrication experience is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Job Duties: 

  • Perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment, machinery, and facility systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
  • Diagnose equipment failures and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain and repair automated production equipment and PLC-controlled systems.
  • Conduct routine inspections to identify and address potential equipment issues before failures occur.
  • Assist with the installation, setup, and commissioning of new equipment and production lines.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, logs, and repair documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, OSHA regulations, and company policies.
  • Collaborate with production teams to improve equipment reliability, efficiency, and overall plant performance.
