Salary: $115,000.00 per year
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8 AM-5 PM

What it Takes to Lead Quality Excellence (Requirements)

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of quality assurance or manufacturing experience required.
  • Experience in laminate manufacturing, specialty materials, or similar industrial environments preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Statistical Quality Control (SQC) techniques.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards and quality management systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate and resolve quality issues.
  • Experience conducting audits, corrective actions, and compliance activities preferred.
  • Above-average computer skills and experience with quality documentation systems.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to train and mentor team members.
  • Knowledge of coating, laminating, fabrication technologies, or dispersion chemistry is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

Drive Quality, Compliance & Continuous Improvement (Job Duties)

  • Assist the Quality Manager in overseeing the Quality Assurance and Inspection departments.
  • Supervise QA and Inspection personnel, including scheduling, timecard approvals, training, and performance reviews.
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Statistical Quality Control (SQC) programs.
  • Monitor quality data, identify trends, and escalate process concerns as needed.
  • Investigate customer complaints, nonconformances, and quality issues to determine root causes and corrective actions.
  • Communicate with customers regarding complaint resolution and quality-related inquiries.
  • Support product qualification activities and onboarding of new products into manufacturing and the Quality Management System.
  • Coordinate internal audits and assist with external ISO 9001 certification audits.
  • Ensure compliance with customer specifications, industry standards, and quality system requirements.
  • Manage document control processes, including document revisions, distribution, and record retention.
  • Serve as a liaison for compliance activities, including customer surveys, RoHS, REACH, UL documentation, and testing requests.
  • Support inventory, testing, defect analysis, corrective action programs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
