Requirements: What It Takes to Be Part of This Crew

• Basic knowledge of general maintenance tools and equipment
• Ability to follow instructions and perform basic math calculations
• Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills
• Good organizational and time management abilities
• Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Basic computer skills or willingness to learn new software applications
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a motor vehicle if required
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous porter, groundskeeping, maintenance, or related experience preferred
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic required

Job Duties: 

• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the property, including parking lots, sidewalks, dumpster areas, and common spaces
• Collect and dispose of trash and debris throughout the property
• Clean common areas using equipment such as power blowers and pressure washers
• Perform basic landscaping duties, including maintaining flowerbeds, plants, grass, and grounds
• Assist with pool cleaning and routine maintenance as needed
• Remove snow and help maintain safe walkways during inclement weather
• Inspect the property regularly and report maintenance or safety concerns to management
• Restock and maintain pet waste stations throughout the community
• Assist with posting notices and other property support tasks as needed
• Provide friendly and professional service to residents and visitors
• Follow all safety procedures and attend required training sessions
• Perform additional groundskeeping and maintenance duties as assigned

What You’ll Be Doing on the Grounds
As a Groundskeeper, you’ll care for lawns and garden spaces through pruning, edging, cutting, and consistent watering. Your plant expertise will guide your work, and you’ll need to comfortably lift (up to) 50 pounds throughout the shift
