What It Takes 

• 1 year of experience
• Ability to work safely in an industrial manufacturing environment
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn technical processes
• Basic computer skills required
• Experience operating forklifts and overhead cranes preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety
• Reliable and team-oriented
• Comfortable working around industrial equipment and heat treat furnaces
• Interested in developing long-term manufacturing and production skills
• Able to follow instructions and work under supervision during training

What You Will Do On the Floor 

• Assist with heat treatment operations for forged metal products
• Prepare furnace loads based on material type and furnace capacity
• Monitor and support furnace operation, startup, and temperature control processes
• Verify piece counts and inspect material condition before and after heat treatment
• Check parts for straightness and flatness and assist with cold or hot straightening when needed
• Perform hardness inspections and basic quality checks on materials
• Follow all workplace safety procedures and company policies
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
