Japanese Bilingual HR Manager

Job Description:
Advanced English proficiency is required, with the ability to independently manage employee relations, employment law matters, and vendor communication; Japanese language skills are preferred. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT NOT ARE LIMITED TO:
- Lead and oversee all HR operations across multiple group entities
- Administer payroll and employee benefits programs, including 401(k) and health insurance
- Support full-cycle recruitment, including candidate screening, interview coordination, and onboarding
- Provide guidance to management and employees on HR policies, employee relations, and compliance matters
- Partner with leadership to provide HR insights and support business decisions
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws; update policies as needed

Develop and maintain job descriptions aligned with FLSA classifications
- Support performance management processes, including evaluations and feedback cycles
- Manage employee relations matters, including disciplinary actions and terminations
- Participate in management and executive meetings as the HR representative
- Lead and execute HR-related projects and initiatives
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors (e.g., benefits providers, consultants)
Experience: Minimum 5+ years of HR experience, including hands-on experience in payroll and benefits administration required; experience supporting multiple entities is a plus
Language: Business-level proficiency in both Japanese and English (reading and writing required) Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and experience using HRIS systems Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and compliance requirements Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience) BENEFITS: Medical/Dental/Vision(100% paid by company), Paid Vacation, Paid holidays, Paid Sick Leave, and 401K.About Us
