Location Ventura, CA
Pay Rate: $21.00 – $25.00 per hour

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Logistics Coordinator to oversee daily transportation operations for our expanding food distribution network. In this role, you’ll coordinate shipments, optimize delivery routes, manage carrier relationships, and ensure products arrive safely, efficiently, and on time. Here’s what it takes to succeed with us.
- Associate’s degree or college coursework preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain operations
- Experience in produce, food distribution, or perishable goods strongly preferred
- Hands-on experience with dispatching, routing, and load planning
Skills & Competencies
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
- Strong understanding of transportation operations and DOT regulations
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Highly organized with strong multitasking abilities
- Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with an analytical mindset
What You’ll Do
- Coordinate and dispatch shipments using company and third-party carriers
- Plan and optimize delivery routes to maximize efficiency and on-time performance
- Schedule, book, track, and monitor shipments from pickup through final delivery
- Communicate proactively with carriers, customers, and internal teams regarding shipment updates
- Troubleshoot delays and resolve transportation or service issues quickly and professionally
- Negotiate transportation rates and services with carriers
- Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers and logistics partners
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company transportation policies
- Partner with Sales and Operations teams to support current and future shipping needs
- Maintain accurate transportation records, carrier agreements, and insurance documentation
