As a Quality Control Technician in Birmingham, you’ll be the one making sure every piece coming off the line meets top standards. Your attention to detail keeps production running smooth and customers coming back.

What It Takes to Keep Quality Tight

• Experience: 1 year of experience.
• Attention to Detail: You catch the “small stuff” that keeps the “big stuff” moving.
• Physical Ability: Stay on your feet, move with the crew, and lift (up to) 60 lbs. when needed. Steel-toes.
• Attitude: Reliable, steady, and proud to be the one who keeps things right.

A Day on the Line

• Perform in-process and final inspections on machined and fabricated parts.
• Inspect custom machined components to ensure adherence to tight tolerances and specifications.
• Operate and program CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) equipment for precise measurements.
• Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and technical drawings.
• Use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and indicators.
• Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records.
• Identify non-conformances and communicate issues to production teams.
• Support root cause analysis and corrective action processes.
• Ensure compliance with internal quality standards and customer requirements.
• Assist with audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
