Job Description:

Staffmark is seeking new talent in Troy, OH, and hiring an experienced Production Team Lead for a global leader in sealing solutions and applications. The candidate selected will bring their safety and quality mindset to a collaborative team while supervising, managing, and leading day-to-day team operations. Pay: $19.16 per hour
2nd Shift Hours: 3:30 PM -11:30 PM, Monday-Friday
*We are searching for someone with flexibility and willing to work overtime, including Saturdays, as needed.
Essential Functions:
- Maintains an atmosphere of continuous improvement and employee involvement per the company’s Guiding Principles.
- Prepares daily records and reports as required.
- Ensures regular training for Operators is thoroughly met.
- Communicate issues and concerns to the Business Unit Manager, Supervisor, HR, and Ops. Manager.
- Works closely with Maintenance on production equipment that may be down. Assist with prioritization of repairs based on schedule priority/ Customer demand.
- Ownership of the production department and recommendation of changes in practice to remain consistent within existing conditions.
- Assist Business Unit Manager/Supervisor in providing recognition and evaluation of Operator job performance.
- Identify, advise, and eliminate safety hazards while assisting in the continuous improvement of safe working practices.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED (associate degree Preferred).
- Knowledge of ergonomics, lean principles such as 5-S, standard work, value stream mapping, error proofing, etc.
- Strong reasoning, analytical, multi-tasking, communication, team management, mechanical, and computer skills (Microsoft Office products and SAP).
- Ability to read part drawings, frequently lift 35 pounds and stand for long periods.
- 3-5 years of related manufacturing/ leadership experience and familiarity with Compression/ Injection molding and CNC is preferred.
