Staffmark and UPSMI have a strategic relationship, known as an Onsite Program. This relationship provides us the opportunity to work more closely with our employees on assignment, as well as with our customers. We are counting on you to represent us well! Remember that you are an employee of Staffmark and should comply with policies and procedures of both Staffmark and UPSMI.
It is important to remember that all personnel issues, questions and/or concerns must be discussed directly and promptly with your Staffmark Onsite Manager. We are here to support and assist you with anything you need.
How to Check-In
You will want to enter through the white door next to the smoking hut.
Once inside the building, you will turn left and see the Staffmark window. Please check in with the recruiter.
Orientation Information
We host interviews and orientations weekly, please refer your friends to contact our team!
We are Onsite at the UPS Warehouse.
Our address is 9555 NE 48th Street Kansas City, MO 64161.
Please arrive early and wear closed toe shoes.
Shifts | Workhours | Workdays
- Day Shift: Monday-Saturday start time varies: 6am, 7am or later start times.
- (Start times can be as early as 5am during peak season)
Must be flexible with start times and can work anywhere from 5-8 hours.

Employee Policies
Time Clock
Time Clock Procedures
It is your responsibility to clock in and out on time clock.
- Clock in and out at all designated times: IN for the day, OUT for the day.
- Do not clock in for more than 5 minutes prior to the start time of your shift.
- Do not clock in or out for anyone else. Clocking in or out for a co-worker will result in disciplinary action up to and including termination from Staffmark.
- For pay rate information, please speak to your Recruiter.
Attendance Policy
Employees working at UPSMI have signed and will be held to Staffmark’s attendance policy. It is VERY important to have good attendance.
Please reach out to your Recruiter for any assistance.
REquesting time off / Incase you are late or absent
Call outs—If for some unexpected reason such as an emergency or illness and you cannot make it to work or will be late, please contact Staffmark at least two business hours prior to your assignment start or as soon as possible so they can call the supervisor and/or find a replacement. Requesting time off- We require a 3-5 day notice from the day requested and turn in a Time off request form for documentation unless you are taking more than 3 days off we do ask for more notice time.
