Congratulations on being selected to work at Toshiba!

Staffmark and Toshiba have a strategic relationship, known as an Onsite Program. This relationship provides us the opportunity to work more closely with our employees on assignment, as well as with our customers. We are counting on you to represent us well! Remember that you are an employee of Staffmark and should comply with policies and procedures of both Staffmark and Toshiba.

It is important to remember that all personnel issues, questions and/or concerns must be discussed directly and promptly with your Staffmark Onsite Manager. We are here to support and assist you with anything you need.

How to Check-In

Report to Toshiba main office lobby @ 8:30AM

Sign in at the Kiosk’s for a temporary badge and a Staffmark representative will meet you in the lobby.

Bring a description of your vehicle including license plate number to be issued a parking sticker.

You will spend your first day completing all the EH&S training on computer.

Make sure to bring a lunch with you.

Employee Policies

Time Clock + Pay

Time Clock Procedures
  • You will be using a timeclock to track your hours.
  • Failure to clock in and out can affect your pay.
  • Please contact your Supervisor if you have any issues with the timeclock.
  • Clock in and out for scheduled shift times. (+ or – 10 minutes)
Pay Schedule
  • Overtime pay after 40 hours
  • Paid weekly on Friday
  • Pay via direct deposit or electronic paycard
  • Access paystubs at www.EmployeeWorkplace.com

Attendance & Shifts

INCASE YOU ARE LATE OR ABSENT

You are REQUIRED to call your supervisor and text Staffmark
at 281-729-6572 at least 30 minutes prior to your shift.
Failure to call and text will result in a No Call No Show.

Please provide the following:

  • First name
  • Last name
  • Department
  • Reason
  • Phone number
REQUESTING TIME OFF

Request time off through the automated request.

Staffmark will follow up with your Supervisor for approval.

Requests are approved at the Supervisor’s discretion based
on business needs.

Lunch / Other Policies

Lunches are 30 minutes, and two 10-minute breaks. It is suggested that you bring your lunch.

If you must leave, you are required to clock in / out for your lunch times.

Refrigerators, microwaves, vending machines are provided.

Please do your part to keep the area clean.

Dress Code

Our goal is to KEEP YOU SAFE, but you also want to make a good impression!

What to Wear:

  • Casual: Pants ( Jeans / Khaki)
  • Short or Long Sleeve Shirt
  • Steel Toe Shoes / Boots

 

What NOT to Wear:

  • Clothing with Inappropriate pictures or words
  • Tight or overly revealing clothing
  • Shirts or blouses that expose the shoulder, back or midriff
  • Open-toe or open-heel shoes
  • Body art and piercings are expected to be covered at all times
