Staffmark and Tekni-Plex have a strategic relationship, known as an Onsite Program. This relationship provides us the opportunity to work more closely with our employees on assignment, as well as with our customers. We are counting on you to represent us well! Remember that you are an employee of Staffmark and should comply with policies and procedures of both Staffmark and Tekni-Plex.
It is important to remember that all personnel issues, questions and/or concerns must be discussed directly and promptly with your Staffmark Onsite Manager. We are here to support and assist you with anything you need.
Report to the employee entrance and ask for your Supervisor.
Orientation will take place on-site at Tekni-Plex. We will review the attendance policy (CANNOT MISS ANY DAYS IN YOUR 1st TWO (2) WEEKS), Dress Code, Personnel Hygiene GMP Policy, and the shift calendar. You will need to complete your urine screening prior to starting. On your first day, the Supervisor will give a tour of the facility and emergency exit training.

You will clock in and out on the clock at Tekni-Plex. Your supervisor will show you on your first day. If you miss a punch in or out – contact your Supervisor and Staffmark immediately so it can be fixed prior to your pay day.

**Cannot miss ANY days in your 1st two (2) weeks or your assignment will be ended**
Unscheduled Absence: any unscheduled full day absence, other than those designated as “Approved Leave” below.
Tardy: any unscheduled late arrival to work starting at 1 minute late.
Leave Early: any unscheduled departure from work.
No Call/No Show: failure to notify Management of an absence following established call in procedures. If no notification is made prior to the end of an employee’s scheduled shift, the absence will be considered a “no call/no show”.
Scheduled Shift: regularly scheduled shift including overtime (both voluntary and mandatory)
Lack of Work: any situation where Management has determined there is not enough work for an employee for the remainder of his/her shift.
Point Assignments
Disciplinary for New Hires in the first 90 days:
Attendance is very important. It affects your teammates, morale and your chances of full time hire. It is important not to miss work unless absolutely necessary. The attendance policy in your first 2 weeks is crucial and your assignment will be ended if you miss during your first 2 weeks. This is your time to shine and prove why you should be hired full time!
Breaks: 15 mins every 2 hours
Lunch: 30 minute
*CANNOT leave the property or go to your car at lunch. Breaks must be taken in the breakroom. There ARE designated smoking areas available as well.
