Congratulations on being selected to work at SafeSource Direct!

Staffmark and SafeSource Direct have a strategic relationship, known as an Onsite Program. This relationship provides us the opportunity to work more closely with our employees on assignment, as well as with our customers. We are counting on you to represent us well! Remember that you are an employee of Staffmark and should comply with policies and procedures of both Staffmark and SafeSource Direct.

It is important to remember that all personnel questions and/or concerns must be discussed directly and promptly with your Staffmark Onsite Representative. We are here to support and assist you with anything you need.

How to Check-In

You will check in with your Staffmark onsite representative when arriving for a Realistic Job Tour or your first day of work.

Please be prepared by dressing appropriately for the environment.

  • Steel Toe Shoes required to work
  • No loose fitting clothing – there are conveyer systems and moving parts
  • Jeans and Tshirt are preferred
  • No jewelry
  • Hair must be tied back and not loose

Orientation Information

Realistic job previews are by appointment only and you will be scheduled by your recruiter or onsite representative.

Shifts | Workhours | Workdays

We work a Pitman schedule and you will be assigned to one schedule, either “A” or “B” and one shift, either “1” or “2”.

Parking

Park anywhere there is no labeled restriction, such as handicap, visitor, reserved, etc.

  • Speed limit in the lot is 10 mph. Please do not speed in the parking lot.
  • Be courteous- 1 space per car.
  • Loitering after shift is not permitted.
  • Do not leave valuable items in plain site.

Time Clock + Pay

Time Clock Procedures

Please make sure you are clocking in and out daily.

You are NOT required to clock out for lunch unless you leave the property. If you leave the property for any reason, you must clock out.

If you miss a punch, please see your onsite representative to get a missed punch form and follow instructions for corrective action.

Pay Rates

Base pay is $14.50/hour
Overtime pay after 40 hours

Pay Schedule
  • Paydays are every Friday.
  • Pay period is from Monday to Sunday and is paid the following Friday.
  • The 2 BEST ways to receive your pay check:
    • Direct Deposit
    • Electronic Paycard

Attendance & Shifts

You are expected to work any shift you are scheduled.

REquesting time off / Incase you are late or absent

Incase you are late or absent:
Please text the following line XXX or call the office XXX with:

  • Name
  • Shift
  • Reason for absence
  • Phone number

 

Requesting Time Off:
Please see your onsite representative to request time off.

  • You will complete a time off request form.
  • All requests must be submitted and approved within 48 hours.
  • Please remember that all requests will be based on production availability.

Lunch / Other Policies

Lunch / BREAKS

A 30 minute unpaid meal period is provided.

Please bring your lunch. Space to store your lunch, microwaves and refrigerators are available. There are some vending machines onsite.

Dress Code

Required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

  • Hardhat (Construction/Production) or Bump Cap (Packaging).
  • Safety Glasses.
  • Long Pants.
  • Ear Plugs.
  • Steel Toe (Construction) or Slip Resistant (Production/Packaging) Footwear.
  • Gloves for Material Handling and Hot Work, Heat Rated Gloves in Production.
  • Sleeves for Hot Work.

 

Not permitted

  • Ear buds, speakers and radios are not allowed.
  • Hoodies, hooded sweaters, hooded jackets, and sagging are not allowed.
  • Cell phones are not permitted in the construction or production area; only allowed in authorized break areas.
