Staffmark and Flextronics have a strategic partnership through our Onsite Program. This close working relationship allows us to better support you throughout your assignment and work hand-in-hand with our customer to create a great experience for everyone.

As a Staffmark employee, you represent both our team and the Flextronics brand—so we’re counting on you to bring your best every day! Please remember that you are employed by Staffmark and are expected to follow the policies and procedures of both Staffmark and Flextronics.

How to Check-In

Enter through the main entrance and check in with security with your first and last name and please wait in the lobby until a Staffmark rep come to get you.

Orientation Information

Schedule: 8:00 am and plan to work full shift. Arrive by 7:15 am for check in.

Agenda: Classroom and industrial floor training with lunch and breaks.

What to Bring:

  • Photo ID – Picture will be taken
  • Lunch or lunch money
  • Snacks welcome
  • Hair Ties for those with long hair
  • Any medically necessary items
  • Steel Toe Shoes are required

Time Clock + Pay

Time Clock Procedures

Clock in and out with the last 5 digits of your Social Security number.

Being 1 minute late is considered tardy.

Early Departure: If you need to leave before the end of your shift, please notify your supervisor.

Pay Rates

Pay rates are different for each job role.

Pay Schedule
  • Paydays are every Friday.
  • Pay period is from Monday to Sunday
  • You have 2 ways to receive your paycheck:
    • Direct Deposit
    • Skylight Pay Card

Attendance & Shifts

  1. What should I do if I need to miss work unexpectedly?
    • You must notify your agency at least 30 minutes before your scheduled shift. Failure to do so may result in the absence being marked as unauthorized, which can lead to disciplinary action.
  2.  How do I request planned time off?
    • Submit an Agency “Time Off Request Form” in advance. The request must be approved by both your agency and the Flex supervisor before the time off is considered authorized.
  3. What happens if I miss work without calling in?
    • If you miss three consecutive shifts without notifying your agency, it will be considered a voluntary resignation (No-Call/No-Show).
  4. How much unpaid time off do I get?
    • You are allowed up to 8 hours of unpaid, authorized time off every 30 calendar days, provided it is approved. If your regular shift is more than 8 hours, additional time may be granted, not to exceed 12 hours total.
  5. What counts as an unauthorized absence?
    • An absence is unauthorized if:
      • You didn’t follow the proper call-in procedure
      • You didn’t get prior approval for time off
      • You have no available time-off balance to cover the absence
      • Your reason could have been foreseen or avoided (e.g., oversleeping)
  6. What is the disciplinary process for attendance issues?
    • Each unauthorized full-day absence results in the following:
      • 1st occurrence: Verbal Warning
      • 2nd occurrence: Written Warning
      • 3rd occurrence: Final Warning or Termination
      • This schedule resets every 90 days if no further issues occur.
  7. Does the policy include consequences for tardiness or leaving early?
    • Yes. Tardiness, leaving early, or missed punches are tracked and follow the same 3-step warning process:
      • Verbal Warning
      • Written Warning
      • Final Warning or Termination
  8. Do company shutdowns or holidays count against my time off?
    • No. Company closings due to weather, holidays, or business needs do not count against your authorized time off allowance.

Lunch / Other Policies

Lunch / BREAKS

30 minutes for lunch. You will need to clock in/out for lunch. There is a cafeteria onsite. Plant offers breakfast and lunch. ATM onsite.

Dress Code

Our goal is to KEEP YOU SAFE, but you also want to make a good impression!

  • Steel Toed Shoes are required (no composites)
  • Hoodies not allowed on industrial floor
  • No ripped jeans or pants with tears/holes.
  • No Jewelry, not even wedding rings
  • Hair can not fall pass collar
