Congratulations on being selected to work at DS Smith!
Staffmark and DS Smith have a strategic relationship, known as an Onsite Solutions Program. This relationship provides us the opportunity to work more closely with our employees on assignment, as well as with our customers. We are counting on you to represent us well! Remember that you are an employee of Staffmark and should comply with policies and procedures of both Staffmark and DS Smith.
It is important to remember that all personnel issues, questions and/or concerns must be discussed directly and promptly with your Staffmark Onsite Manager. We are here to support and assist you with anything you need.
Orientation Information
Orientation will be completed in the office.
No cell phones allowed on the production floor. You may be allowed to use on your breaks/lunch.

1st Shift 6:30am-4:30pm | Monday to Thursday
3rd shift 8:30pm-6:30am | Sunday to Wednesday

Time Clock + Pay
Time Clock Procedures
Enter last 4 digits of your social security number (SSN) and select your name.
Then select either IN or OUT, whichever is appropriate.
Pay Rates
1st Shift | $13.00
3rd shift | $14.65
Pay Schedule
- Paydays are every Friday.
- Pay period is from Monday to Sunday and is paid the following Friday.
- You have 2 ways to receive your paycheck:
- Direct Deposit
- Skylight Pay Card
Attendance & Shifts
Incase you are late or absent
Make sure to either call the office or send a message @ 423-787-9529.
If no answer, make sure to leave a voicemail.
Requesting Time Off:
Speak with your recruiter and also speak with your immediate supervisor on your shift.

Dress Code
- Jeans, shorts and T-shirts allowed.
- Steel toe shoes.
- No hoodies allowed.
- No jewelry.
- No profanity on any clothing.
