Congratulations on being selected to work at Baxter!
Staffmark and Baxter have a strategic relationship, known as an Onsite Program. This relationship provides us the opportunity to work more closely with our employees on assignment, as well as with our customers. We are counting on you to represent us well! Remember that you are an employee of Staffmark and should comply with policies and procedures of both Staffmark and Baxter.
It is important to remember that all personnel issues, questions and/or concerns must be discussed directly and promptly with your Staffmark Onsite Manager. We are here to support and assist you with anything you need.
How to Check-In
Make sure you are entering into the employee entrance. There will be a sign in sheet for you and your site leader will meet you there and issue you your badge. Please remember to sign in and out at the front door each day. The sign in sheet will be cross referenced with punches for payroll purposes.
Orientation Information
Orientation will be held off of production needs. Once you visit the office for orientation you will be scheduled for a tour of the location.

Please make sure you are parking in the employee parking spots. You are not permitted to park in Visitor, USDA or AVI Parking spots.

Time Clock + Pay
Time Clock Procedures
You will need your badge to clock in and out. You will need that badge with you daily to make sure your time is kept correctly.
Pay Rates
Payrate will vary based off your positions.
Pay Schedule
- Paydays are every Friday.
- Pay period is from Monday to Sunday and is paid the following Friday.
- The 2 BEST ways to receive your pay check:
- Direct Deposit
- Skylight Pay Card
Attendance & Shifts
REquesting time off / Incase you are late or absent
Call off number: 513-927-2559.
Please make sure you are leaving the following information:
- Name
- Shift
- Department
- Reason for absence
Also make sure you are texting the onsite leader with the same information to the text line at: 513-847-9501
Lunch / Other Policies
Lunch / BREAKS
You will receive a 30 minute lunch. There is vending onsite. There is refrigerators onsite and you can pack your lunch also.
The site does have free coffee in the cafeteria.
Dress Code
- Do not forget your badge or you will not be able to clock in/out. Badges must always
be visible. - Steel-toed shoes are required at the Kenwood location.
- No jewelry allowed except a plain wedding band with no stones.
- No body piercings (includes dermal implants).
- No false fingernails or polish (including gel/acrylic coatings).
- No shorts, short pants, or open-toed shoes.
- No body glitter.
- No false eyelashes.
- Baxters is a Food Grade facility | hairnets, beard nets, ear plugs, and lab coats are
required (Baxters will provide these items). - Be prepared to work in a cold environment and around strong food smells at times.
- A personal lock can be brought from home to place on an available locker.
- No food/drinks can be stored in lockers (only in the breakrooms).
