Job Summary
We are currently hiring a Director of Sales for our Specialty Sales team, and our ideal candidate will possess a passion for impacting lives and our community. In this exciting new position, you will identify new business opportunities, cultivate strong client relationships, and will achieve revenue targets by selling tailored Onsite and Performance Management Solutions. The position will be responsible for prospecting, selling, and winning new business. This role will work closely with internal teams to ensure a seamless transition from prospecting to service delivery, ensuring client satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
Essential Duties
Your Day-to-Day Leadership includes Activities such as these:
- Target major account prospects in conjunction with the region’s VP and SVP leaders, to deliver sales presentations to “targeted” prospects.
- Builds and maintains an active sales funnel pipeline of active prospects who have onsite programs or cost per unit opportunities.
- Conduct extensive research on the target market and accounts by using the Internet or other sources of information to gain an in-depth knowledge of their business.
- Meets with customers to assess their needs and development of strategies to provide solutions to their staffing challenges.
- Conduct market analysis, develop, and implement market strategy agreed upon with manager and partner with Performance Management Group team to prepare for assessments.
- Represents company at trade association meetings to promote Staffmark Group’s ability to offer large volume discounts, reporting functions, etc. on national scale.
- Maintains relationships/communication with current and potential customers base to ensure expectations are being met or to identify additional business opportunities.
Competencies
Competencies we value for this role include persuasion, ethical conduct, excellent written and oral communication skills, strong time management skills, customer-service orientation, good skills in the use of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel and PowerPoint), proven strong organizational skills, and an ability to effectively prioritize in a multi-task environment. We also desire 5-7 years of similar experience in staffing and sales.
