Join Our Team as an Experienced Material Handler – Hot Springs, AR

Staffmark is partnering with a leading aerospace manufacturer to hire a skilled Material Handler in Hot Springs, AR. This is a temporary position lasting 1–2 months, with the possibility of becoming permanent for the right candidate.

Pay Rate: $18.00/hour

Shift: 1st Shift | Monday – Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM (10–12 hour days, occasional Fridays)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and dependable candidate with forklift experience to support warehouse operations. This hands-on role involves disassembling materials, moving heavy items, and maintaining a clean, organized work environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in metal cutting, strong physical stamina, and a safety-first mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts safely to move materials, goods, and equipment
• Disassemble warehouse items, machinery, or structures
• Perform manual lifting, carrying, and moving of materials (up to 50 lbs)
• Handle physical tasks involving stooping, bending, and standing for extended periods
• Assist in organizing, cleaning, and maintaining the warehouse
• Load and unload shipments as needed
• Adhere strictly to safety procedures and warehouse protocols
• Collaborate with team members to complete tasks on schedule

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Forklift certification and safe operating experience required
• 1–2 years of metal cutting experience
• Prior experience in a labor-intensive or warehouse environment is a plus
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and conditions
• Comfortable lifting 50 pounds and performing repetitive physical tasks
• Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and teamwork
