Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline
- 5 years of purchasing experience using an ERP system
- Previous project management experience
- Strong MRP and analytical skills
- Experienced in using Excel specifically Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP functions
- Effective leadership skills
- APICS CPIM or CSCP certification are preferred
Purchasing Supervisor Job Duties
- Lead the purchasing process.
- Provide leadership, support, and mentoring to the purchasing team.
- Coordinate with the sourcing, customer service, manufacturing, engineering, and planning departments.
- Remain accountable for all purchasing metrics.
- Monitor the management of purchase orders and vendor performance.
- Lead system improvement initiatives.
- Analyze the month-end supply chain financial reports.
Salary: $100,000 – $120,000 | 1st Shift
