Looking to jumpstart your career right here in Chatsworth, CA? Staffmark is hiring a Machine Operator for a growing team in the glass manufacturing industry. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity that offers you the chance to build a long-term career with our partner company.
Shift: 2nd Shift | 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM | Monday – Friday (Possible overtime on Saturdays)
Pay: $21 per hour
Requirements:
- 3+ years of industry experience (preferably in health supplements, pills, powders)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Steel-toe boots required
Job Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute the changeover schedule, ensuring parts are cleaned and inspected.
- Set up and operate machinery safely and efficiently.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and material handling equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and assist with heavy machinery teardown and setup.
- Load machines and perform visual and physical checks.
- Accurately record data and maintain organized records.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace.
