Job Description:
Staffmark is excited to offer a new opportunity for a skilled Machinist to join a leading company in precision machining. In this role, you will operate and set up CNC machine tools, including horizontal milling and lathe turning machines, in a production environment.
Pay Rate: $18 – $21 per hour, based on experience
Shift Available: First Shift, Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Operate and set up horizontal milling and lathe turning CNC machine tools.
- Inspect products using precision measuring tools, including calipers, micrometers, and thread gauges.
- Proficiently read and interpret blueprints, including GD&T.
- Understand tool usage and wear, and make necessary adjustments at the machining center.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Solid understanding of blueprint reading and GD&T.
- Experience with Mazak CNC machining centers is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of machining theory and operations.
