Staffmark is hiring a skilled Grinder Operator for a leading manufacturing company in Cincinnati, OH. This temp-to-hire opportunity offers competitive pay and the chance to work with advanced machinery in a dynamic environment. Pay Rate: $18-$22 per hour (based on experience).

Shifts Available:

Monday-Thursday: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM + Friday: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM.

Monday-Thursday: 5:30 PM – 4:00 AM + Friday: 5:30 PM – 12:00 AM.

Friday-Sunday: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM.

Friday-Sunday: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM.

Responsibilities:

• Operate grinding/milling machines efficiently, including loading/unloading parts and performing inspections.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and minor adjustments on assigned equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of production activities using CMMS software.
• Perform general building maintenance tasks, including cleaning and organizing work areas.
• Set up and switch jobs as required while maintaining excellent attendance.
• Inspect parts to ensure they meet specifications using micrometers, gauges, and other tools.
• Track materials, scrap, and corrective actions while adhering to AS9100 quality standards.

Requirements:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: At least one year of machining experience; ability to run multiple machines daily.
• Skills: Proficiency in reading part drawings, using micrometers/dial calipers, and calculating dimensions/tolerances.
• Must meet ITAR definition of US Person(s).
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods.
