Staffmark is seeking a dedicated and physically capable Barrel Roller to join the team at the iconic Jack Daniel’s Distillery in Lynchburg, TN. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity that involves manual labor in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Pay: $17.86 per hour (plus a $0.25 shift differential)

Shift Details: Rotating schedule with 1st and 2nd shift availability, Monday through Friday

Responsibilities:

• Physical Demands: Ability to stand, stoop, bend, and frequently climb steps for at least 8-hour shifts. Climbing up to 7 sets of steps to access multi-level warehouse floors.
• Barrel Handling: Access ricks through a 14-inch wide opening, work in tight spaces, and manipulate barrels when stuck (occasionally requiring a 2-person lift).
• Truck Operations: Handle approximately 5-6 trucks hourly, each carrying 26 barrels.
• Force Requirements: Apply a 76-90 lb push force when moving barrels on rails and a 20 lb force with the foot to initiate rolling barrels.
• Posture and Movement: Work in a stooped posture while rolling barrels and apply mid-chest to shoulder level push when placing barrels on lifts.

Requirements: High school diploma or GED; At least 1 year of experience in manual/physical labor or a similar role; Valid driver’s license; Ability to lift 50+ lbs and apply significant push/kick force.
